RE
Tannery Drift is non-denominational and the teaching of Religious Education is in accordance with the Hertfordshire agreed syllabus. Children receive one session of RE each week, which focuses on ourselves and others around us and developing our understanding of different faiths and religions. We encourage children to share their own experiences with others.
Opportunities arise during the year for the children to visit and experience a service at the local Parish Church. Our Religious Education aims to ensure that all pupils develop knowledge and understanding of sources of wisdom and their impact whilst exploring personal and critical responses.
School assemblies take place on a daily basis where there is often an opportunity for self-reflection. We have visitors from local churches come in and lead an assembly each month. The act of worship is broadly of a Christian nature.
