Enrichment
We are very fortunate to have Mrs Simons, a very experienced teacher, who works in school one day a week to deliver a variety of enrichment activities to our children. From planting fruit and vegetable seeds in our allotment to cooking delicious food, visiting local places of interest to cultivating our wildlife area; Mrs Simons provides interesting and fun sessions which complement the curriculum that is delivered in the classroom.

The children in Red Foxes class visited the local Tesco Extra store to take part in their Farm to Fork trail. They visited the fresh fish counter where they learned about the different types of fish that the store have on sale.

The children also met Dean, the baker, who showed them how they make bread and rolls in the bakery and gave the children the opportunity to make their own.

The visit ended at the produce department where the children looked at the wide variety of exotic fruits that are available and even had the chance to do some taste testing!
