Trips & Visits

We aim to provide each Year group with the opportunity to go on a school trip during the year. These trips are usually designed to compliment the children's learning, for example, children have visited Celtic Harmony Camp when learning about the Stone Age.

We understand that families face a number of financial pressures, with this in mind we endeavour to keep the cost of day trips to a maximum of £25.

Children in Year 4 are offered a residential trip during the Summer term. The 3-day activity trip is spent at PGL Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire. The activities can vary each year but can include abseiling, aeroball, archery, high ropes course, Jacob's ladder, raft building and survivor. Parents are able to pay for the trip in instalments to make the cost more manageable.

The Year 4 children always return from their trip with a new-found sense of independence and confidence, preparing them for their move to a new school in Year 5.
