We have two classes in Year 4: Kingfisher Class are taught by Miss Seymour and their teaching assistant is Mrs Jacklin. Lion Class is taught by Ms McNeill and their teaching assistant is Mrs Tasev.

As we are some of the oldest children in the school, we strive to be role models for others. Our classroom is in the new school building, and we take great pride in our learning environment. 

In Year 4, we love to learn in different ways, and we like to talk about our learning. We understand that learning is a journey filled with wonder and possibility. In our class, we use drama, talk and most importantly our imagination to inspire our writing; use resources and practical activities to support and justify our maths knowledge, and we like to investigate and research new topics. We are working hard on our times tables, hoping to know them all by the end of the year, and we are also practising our super smart handwriting to hopefully gain our ‘Pen Licences’ this year.  

We have some very exciting topics such as ‘Rainforests’ and ‘Vikings’ and we cannot wait to share these with you so you can join in with our excitement.
